Wow, this is really creative! I love how you did the tail. The shading is awesome as well. I still need to start my drawing ~grumbles~ but thanks to you now I am inspiration. I will tell Mary about this.

If life where perfect? There would be no point.
:iconartemis1986:
K and thanks. I think I'm going to try a second one but more of a merman... Thanks for the advice ^v^
:iconjacyofearth:
Wow this is... not what I would have thought of! Okay, I'll upload this one into BPC.
It really is awesome.
It looks like it was inked. I mean, ink-washed...? Is that what it's called?
Were you aiming for the tail end to be translucent?
Or not...?
I can see why this would inspire krystleg777. I think that's what she meant. : )

Actually, I'll upload the sketch version and tell of the shaded one in the description.
Can I ask you to request that people comment on the one in BPC?
Thankies.... ^^;

okay no problem. Sorry about putting up 2 it's just that I liked it enough to shade. Oh and no it isn't inked I just darkened what I did in paint so it would be easier to see than my light penciling ^v^ I hope thats okay? Oh and par krystleg777 suggestion to me I did one more but of a merman so I'm gonna post that up in a bit too. Sine you draw guys a lot maybe you can critique it for me?
:iconjacyofearth:
Okay, so I've spoken to CaveDwellers, and it's been agreed that we'll disable the comments to the pictures in BPC and link back to here. That way people can then browse through the rest of your gallery! Good?

ooooouuuh, I'd like to see that merman.
I'll be happy to critique for you! Mmkay.
Woah you did this in paint? MS Paint? (I'm not sure what the MS stands for--maybe MicroSoft--but I think it's the title of the default program...)

Okay and no not in MS Paint. I use Corel Paint Shop Pro. Is similar to Photo Shop but less complicated.
:iconjacyofearth:
Ah-ha!
Less complicated is good.
I'm pretty happy with Photoshop though.
Did you use a screen feature? : D

no not that I know of. All I did was basically use the brightness/contrast adjustment to do a burn all to darken the whole picture without fading it out.
